Record breaker Lockyer leads Broncos to victory over Eels

The Broncos move into the Top 8 after grinding out a 10-6 victory at Parramatta Stadium in front a crowd of 15929.

With the outstanding record of 329 games for one club, Darren Lockyer led his troops well tonight away from home, to notch up a tough victory over a Parramatta Eels side a little out of sorts at times.

A try a-piece in the first half saw the score at the break 6-6.

The second half had the promise of a tight battle. The Broncos knuckled down well on defence as the Eels were left to rue their sometimes soft 5th tackle options, letting down any real scoring opportunities.
Falou the only player scoring any points in the final forty minutes of the match.

The Broncos now move into the Top 8 while the Eels are left to regather following back to back losses before they head across the Tasman for their game in the next round.
