Roosters lock Luke Ricketson has been charged with a Grade 3 striking offence by the NRL judiciary.
Ricketson faces a ban of 3 matches if found guilty - which would rule him out of Sunday night's Grand Final against the Bulldogs at Telstra stadium.
The base penalty for the charge is 325 points (3 matches). If Ricketson enters an early guilty plea the penalty is reduced to only 243 points (2 matches).
The club will be assessing the situation overnight and making a decision by 12pm Tuesday (tomorrow).
Justin Hodges was put on report for a high tackle during the win over the Cowboys, but was deemed to have no case to answer.
