Robbie Paul unlikely to front up
for World Club Challenge

Bradford Bulls skipper Robbie Paul is almost certain to miss next month's World Club Challenge clash with Penrith Panthers. He is struggling to regain full fitness after breaking his arm last season and failed to get the all-clear when he visited a specialist on Wednesday.

"He was told he would be assessed again in a couple of weeks," said Bradford spokesman Stuart Duffy.

Paul will see the specialist again on 11 February, just two days before the Bulls meet Penrith at Huddersfield..

"It's healing well but it's obviously not enough for him to resume full training," added Duffy.

The Bulls are still reeling from the loss of Great Britain scrum-half Paul Deacon, who is facing a six-week lay-off after undergoing surgery to repair a detached retina.
