The Sydney Roosters have been ravaged by injury for Friday night's match against Brisbane with forwards Craig Fitzgibbon and Adrian Morley both ruled out.
Fitzgibbon has an ankle ligament problem, while Morley will also be out for up to two weeks after injuring his wrist in Saturday night's win over Cronulla. To make matters worse for coach Ricky Stuart, back-up forwards Nigel Plum, Adam Shubert and Shane Shackleton are also sidelined with injury.
Centre Ryan Cross will also be out for up to six weeks after tearing ligaments in his ankle against the Sharks. Stuart says young front rower David Shillington and former Bulldogs prop Charlie Tonga will have to combat Broncos big men Shane Webcke and Petero Civoniveva on Friday night.
