Roosters side named to face the
Warriors

Roosters coach Ricky Stuart has named a powerful new-look side for Saturday night?s crunch match with New Zealand ? a side intent on continuing the club's rise up the ladder.

Despite losing against Wests on Sunday, the Roosters still climbed to seventh position on the NRL ladder.

But a potential top-four spot awaits the side if they can conquer their 2002 grand final opponents at Aussie Stadium this weekend.

?It?s a great challenge for us to pick ourselves up after such an ordinary performance on Sunday,? assistant coach John Cartwright says.

?Once again there is some young blood there with three of our guys out suspended.

?It?s a good chance for them to step up ? we?ll need them to do that.

?But we know the Warriors will be desperate, they need to win as well.?

In-form hooker Heath L?Estrange has been pushed to the bench, allowing Craig Wing to come back into the number nine jersey.

George Rose has earned a first grade recall on the bench, while Jamie Soward will start in the halves with Brett Finch.

Richard Fa?aoso will slot into the front-row, with Ned Catic and Adam Schubert on the bench.

Chris Walker has been named in the centres, pushing Joel Monaghan out to the wing.

Mick Crocker, Adrian Morley and Ryan Cross are all suspended, while Stuart Webb (elbow) and Chris Flannery (calf) are out injured.

"It's a bit of a different looking side this week," skipper Luke Ricketson says.

"But we all want the same thing, to get back on track.

"We know what we dished up on Sunday is unacceptable and we want to fix that at home on Saturday night.

"There's a few new combinations there, so it should be exciting for us this week."
