Roosters team to play Canberra

Under-pressure Sydney Roosters halfback Brett Finch has received a major setback in his bid to retain the NSW No.7 jersey after being shifted to hooker for Sunday's NRL match with Canberra.

With the Blues team for next month's State of Origin decider to be named next Monday, Finch may be forced to press his final claims for retention out of position after club coach Ricky Stuart today named rookie Josh Lewis at halfback in a reshuffled Roosters line-up.

NSW utility Craig Wing has been moved from hooker to centre, with Ryan Cross sent to the wing, and Finch included at No.9 for the struggling Roosters, who have slumped to 12th after four straight losses.
