Gold Coast lock Luke Swain will tonight front the NRL judiciary in a bid to have his grade two striking charge downgraded.
Swain has pleaded guilty to striking Brisbane's Shane Perry last Friday, but is contesting the severity of the charge to have the ban reduced from two weeks to one.
Sydney Roosters forward Nate Myles yesterday accepted a three-game ban for his grade three striking charge for whacking Canberra's William Zillman on Monday night.
St George Illawarra's Beau Scott also pleaded guilty to a dangerous throw yesterday and has been banned for two games while Penrith's Paul Aiton entered an early plea to escape suspension for his dangerous throw.
