Round 6 charges

Raiders pivot Jason Smith could spend up to three weeks on the sideline following yesterday's game against Manly. The NRL match review committee today charged him with a grade two dangerous throw in response to his tackle on Anthony Watmough.

It gets worse for the Green Machine, with skipper and hooker Simon Woolford slapped with a grade one careless high tackle and could be out for 2 weeks.

Adrian Morley has escaped punishment though, with his hit on Bulldog Matt Utai resulting in him being sent from the field on Friday night. Referee's coach Robert Finch has indicated he will speak to Roosters coach Ricky Stuart and discuss his remarks following the incident.

Meanwhile, Dragons utility player Shaun Timmins has a grade two careless high tackle charge to contend with, which could see him given a one-match spell.
