Ryles out for up to Four Weeks

St.George Bank Dragons prop Jason Ryles has been sidelined for 2-4 weeks with a torn ligament in his foot following Friday night's emphatic 37-6 win over the Eels at Parramatta. Ryles, 25, who has played four games this season after returning from a career threatening shoulder injury, overcame a knee strain to play on Friday night but injured his foot. Scans today revealed he has a torn ligament. Dragons winger nathan Blacklock will be out for 4-6 weeks after re-injuring his hamstring, while captain Trent Barrett is expected to need another week for his hamstring injury and Nathan Long (knee) is likely to be out for another six weeks. On the good news front, Lance Thompson (shoulder) and Matt Cooper (knee) have been cleared to play the Broncos in Brisbane this Friday night.
