Ryles results known tomorrow

Dragons Origin prop Jason Ryles will have an MRI on his shoulder later this afternoon but the club will not have information to release on the extent of the injury until tomorrow.

Ryles did further damage to his shoulder last night in the final State of Origin, five weeks after injuring the same shoulder in Origin 1.

Dragons winger Amos Roberts is having an investigative athroscope on his re-injured shoulder this afternoon.

Club doctor Martin Raftery said he would know the outcome on both Ryles and Roberts tomorrow. Both face a best case scenario of at least two weeks on the sideline and worst case of being out for the season.

Dragons coach Nathan Brown will not name a replacement for Ryles until Saturday afternoon prior to kick-off against the Cowboys in Townsville.

He said Shaun Timmins left for Townsville today with fellow Origin rep Luke Bailey. Brown is hopeful Timmins will play but he is in some doubt.

The remainder of the team will arrive in Townsville late tomorrow afternoon after a training run at Oki Jubilee Stadium tomorrow morning. They will have a light run in Townsville on Saturday morning for Brown to finalise his line-up.
