Ryles suffers hand injury

Prop Jason Ryles is confident a hand injury suffered in Australia's 44-12 Test win over France will not jeopardise the rest of his Tri Nations campaign.

The Dragons forward's left hand blew up noticeably after the game but he played down any concerns about the injury. Late-tour replacement Craig Wing, who played strongly despite a two-day preparation, was also nursing a bruised sternum but like Ryles is confident of being available for selection for Australia's Tri Nations Test with Great Britain on Saturday which will decide the make-up of the finals.

All eyes will be on Trent Barrett who is in line to play five-eighth if he recovers from a foot injury. The Kangaroos head back to Manchester to prepare for Saturday's final pool game.
