Saints to appoint new Board of
Directors

St Helens have announced that it intends to appoint four new directors, plus an advisor to the board.

Saints Chairman Eamonn McManus stated: "I am delighted that Donal McGuire, Paul Barrow, Chris Green and Joe Nichol have accepted my invitation to join the board of the Saints.

"In addition, Tony Colquitt will be appointed advisor to the board. They bring a wealth of relevant professional and business experience aand talent to the board as well as being individuals of the highest standing. They are also long-standing and dedicated fans of the Saints and of the game.

"I am confident that they will provide invaluable support to Chief Executive Sean McGuire and his management team as we strive to continue to rapidly improve every aspect of our business and to maintain a world-class squad to entertain our growing supporter base."

Donal McGuire is a leading barrister on the Northern Circuit.

Paul Barrow is a commercial solicitor and partner with Liverpool firms Quinn Melville and Quinn Barrow.

Chris Green is currently Head of Commercial at Liverpool Culture Company, and was formerly a Director of Camelot and Marketing Director of the Rugby Football League.

Joe Nichol is the Managing Director of an engineering group with a successful personal background in corporate turnarounds.

Tony Colquitt is Commercial Director of Gillette with responsibility for Rugby League sponsorship, in particular the Gillette Tri-Nations.
