Sea Eagles consolidate top four spot

The Manly Sea Eagles' premiership defence continues to gain momentum after an at times scrappy 16-6 defeat of Brisbane in front of 12,886 fans at Brookvale Oval tonight.

The Sea Eagles set up the victory with a clinical first half where they led 16-0 after Brett Stewart scored two tries, but Manly coach Geoff Toovey wouldn't be impressed with his side's error-riddled second-half.

The result leaves the Broncos in danger of sliding out of the top 8 at the completion of games this weekend.
