Sea Eagles soar past rudderless Roosters

The Manly Sea Eagles have disposed of the Sydney Roosters 52-14 in emphatic fashion at Allianz Stadium in front of 13,531 fans this afternoon and in the process sent out a warning to their rivals they are more than capable of defending their title after running in nine tries to three.

The Sea Eagles started the match in scintillating fashion with two tries in the opening 11 minutes which put the Roosters immediately on the back foot. Winger Jorge Taufua opened the scoring after clever leadup work from Tony Williams who was a late inclusion in coach Geoff Toovey
