Sharks bite in the second half

The Cronulla Sharks have fought back in the second half as they scored 26 unanswered to down the Parramatta Eels 32-14 at Sharks Stadium. Paul Gallen, Wade Graham and Beau Ryan stand outs for the Cronulla side as they muscled up to make up the 14-6 score at half time.

The Parramatta Eels looked to shock the Shire side as Ken Sio posted the first points inside five minutes as the Eels through Ryan Morgan attacked the blind side. Eels 6-0.

The arm wrestle ensued as the next points where scored 20 minutes later as Jeff Robson crossed for his first of two tries. Wade Graham provided the foundation has he broke the Eels defence to sprint 30 metres downfield. The Sharks locked the game up at 6-all after 24 minutes.

Eels youngster, Brayden Wiliame claimed his first NRL try as Cheyse Blair provided the short pass at the line. Just before the half time siren, Chris Sandow opted for an extension in the lead with a penalty goal pushing the score to 14-6 after 40 minutes of play.

Shane Flangan's half time speech to the Sharks worked wonders as the boys from Cronulla muscled up and posted 26 points in the second forty minutes. Paul Gallen lifted his side to march forward and stood up as captain to lead his team to victory. The captain thanks to Todd Carney posted his own four-pointer early in the second half.
