Sims ruled out of Sunday's game

Dragons prop Ashton Sims failed a fitness test today and has been ruled out of Sunday's clash with the Sharks at Oki Jubilee Stadium.

Sims was set to play his first game in five weeks following a knee operation but Dragons coach Nathan Brown said medical staff deemed he was not ready. Bryan Norrie will take his place on the bench.

In other injury news, Mark Gasnier will be out for another five weeks after re-injuring his collar-bone, while Lance Thompson's ankle has been slow to heal and he is likely to be a further four weeks.
