Sims to have
surgery; Timmins likely to return this week

Young St.George Bank Dragons prop Ashton Sims will have minor knee surgery this week and will be sidelined for the next 3-4 weeks. Sims has had a niggly knee injury for most of the season and will have a clean-up on Wednesday. NSW Origin hero Shaun Timmins will have a strength test on his shoulder later this week, but is hopeful of being passed fit to play against the Rabbitohs on Sunday at the SCG. Timmins has missed the last two games. Second rower Tony Jensen will have an MRI on a minor hamstring strain this week and is in doubt to play. Winger Nathan Blacklock is expected back from a severe hamstring injury in round 18 with the Dragons having a bye in round 17.
