Slater?s still unsure where he?ll play

After serving a seven-match NRL suspension, Billy Slater wants to cement his place back in the in-form Melbourne Storm line up before pondering the chance of a recall to the Queensland Origin team.

Slater has yet to be told by Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy what his role will be against the Roosters on Saturday. With Greg Inglis having claimed the fullback's position in his absence, Slater will either start on the interchange bench or slot in on a wing or in the centres for the Storm.

Melbourne has won six of its last seven matches while Slater has served his suspension for kicking Wests Tigers prop John Skandalis in the head. The Maroons will name their team for Origin II on Monday.
