South Sydney will lodge an official complaint with the National Rugby League over referee Bill Harrigan's decision to penalise captain Bryan Fletcher for a double movement in yesterday's loss to St George Illawarra.
Souths chief executive David Tapp has confirmed the club intends to make a formal complaint to referees boss Robert Finch over the matter. Harrigan penalised Fletcher for a double movement when attempting to score a try in the 73rd minute of yesterday's game at the SCG, which the Dragons won 18-16.
TAPP says the club needs to express its dissatisfaction with the decision.
