State Against State: Junior Finals

Following on from the state Grand Finals last Saturday, this weekend it will be state against state as teams from north and south of the border battle it out at Leichhardt Oval to be crowned National Champions.

Representing New South Wales will be the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs (Harold Matthews Premiers) and the Newcastle Knights (SG Ball Premiers).

They will be taking on their Queensland counterparts in the Easts Tigers (Cyril Connell Cup Premiers) and the Norths Devils (Mal Meninga Cup Premiers).

It promises to be an outstanding day of the highest order, and if the games live up to anything like the calibre of matches that we saw last weekend it will truly be an afternoon not to be missed.

Not only are the respective titles up for grabs on the day, but the Harold Matthews and SG Ball Cup players of the year will also be announced, as will the NSW U/16 team who will take on QLD at Suncorp Stadium prior to game one of the Harvey Norman State of Origin series.

All media are welcome and encouraged to attend on what should be a great day of rugby league action.
