Leeds Rhinos defied the odds again to see off Warrington Wolves and retain their Premiership with a famous win at the Theatre of Dreams.

For the first time in the Summer era, the Grand Final would be a repeat of the Challenge Cup Final as Warrington were hoping to end their 57 year wait for the title and to win the double at their first appearance at Old Trafford.

The Rhinos were looking for revenge for their disappointment at Wembley as they looked to write new history by becoming the first Super League team to win six Championships.

This time the weather stayed fair and it was the Wolves who made the best possible start. On three minutes half-back Richie Myler found a gap in the Leeds
