Stuart re-signs for two years

The Sydney Roosters have re-signed premiership winning coach Ricky Stuart for a further two National Rugby League seasons. The Roosters have announced they've secured the services of the game's hottest coaching property after months of speculation over his future.

Sydney Roosters chief executive Bernie Gurr says Stuart has made a significant contribution to the club in his short time as head coach. Stuart joined the Roosters last season after a year in charge of the Bulldogs' Jersey Flegg side, which won the premiership.

He immediately put his stamp on the Roosters, guiding the club to its first premiership since 1975. The Roosters have won 24 of the 34 games played under his coaching.
