New Zealand Kiwis Team named for 2013 ANZAC Test

The New Zealand Kiwis have named a 19 man squad for the ANZAC test against the Australian Kangaroos in Canberra next Friday night.

With Sonny Bill Williams ruled out of the match with a knee injury, playmaker Benji Marshall and Gerard Beale also out through injury, and Krisnan Inu unavailable through suspension, there were plenty of concerns for selectors. To make matters worse, enforcer Jeremy Smith is also in doubt, after being placed on report for a head slam in the Newcastle Knights clash with Penrith on Saturday afternoon.

Despite that, the Kiwis have named only one debutant, Roosters winger Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

New Zealand Kiwis 19 man squad:
Jesse Bromwich, Kieran Foran, Alex Glenn, Josh Hoffman, Shaun Johnson, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Issac Luke, Simon Mannering (c), Ben Matulino, Sam McKendry, Jason Nightingale, Sam Perrett, Frank Pritchard, Kevin Proctor, Jeremy Smith, Elijah Taylor, Roger Tuivasa-Scheck, Jared Warea-Hargreaves, Dean Whare.
