The Telstra Premiership Rugby League Road Train will make history when it 'drives across' the Tasman Sea for an ambitious 10-day tour of New Zealand.

The Telstra Premiership Rugby League Road Train will board a cargo ship this week, to give New Zealand Rugby League supporters the first hand chance to experience state of the art interactive Rugby League activities and priceless memorabilia.

With the New Zealand Warriors sitting on second place on the NRL ladder, it will be a perfect opportunity for Kiwi fans to visit the Telstra Premiership Rugby League Road Train.

Some of the stops on New Zealand's North Island include Auckland, Whangarei, Huntly, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua and Tokoroa.

The Telstra Premiership Rugby League Road Train is an impressive 13m vehicle with state of the art interactive Rugby League experiences, animated games and priceless memorabilia including the Telstra Premiership, Ashes Trophy and Dally M Medal.

Fans will have the chance to meet some of their favourite National Rugby League stars who will sign autographs and assist in the league themed activities.

More than 102,000 Rugby League supporters have already visited the Telstra Premiership Rugby League Road Train in the first four months of its 100-day tour.

The 20 tonne Telstra Premiership Rugby League Road Train has travelled 25,000km throughout New South Wales and Queensland and visited 49 regional and metropolitan locations.

Some of the highlights include the Country Carnival launch at Cessnock which featured Andrew Johns, Sydney's Royal Easter Show that attracted 25,000 supporters, State of Origin Fan Day at Parramatta Stadium and Cobar's Big Breakfast hosted by Mario Fenech.

Other regional towns the Telstra Premiership Rugby League Road Train has visited include Temora, Wagga Wagga, Tamworth, Moree, Narrabri, Warwick, Dalby, Bundaberg and Rockhampton.

More than 70 former and current Telstra Premiership players, have made special guest appearances, which include Laurie Daley, Gorden Tallis, Travis Norton, Steve Price, Bryan Fletcher and Nathan Cayless.
