The Frank Hyde Shield decider for 2007

To all supporters of traditional Rugby League football:

It's on again... the Frank Hyde Shield (contested annually between the North Sydney Bears and Newtown Jets) is to be decided this Friday, May 18, 7.00pm at North Sydney Oval. There is only one game being played for the Shield this year and those crafty Bears have the home ground advantage!

The North Sydney Bears are primed to bring the trophy back, following some outstanding performances so far in the NSWRL VB Premier League in 2007. Newtown will not relinquish the Shield easily, so get ready for a genuine old-fashioned tribalised showdown between two of Rugby League
