THE HOG's round 24 winners plus margins!

Who feels like a LuckyPunter??

With only three rounds to go, its now or never....there is cash to be taken from unsuspecting bookies...you have got to be in it to win it though...get on now.

DRAGONS v. BRONCOS. Even based on last weekends form, when the Dragons got beat and the Broncos had a big second half against the non tackling Panthers, the out of sorts Dragons still slightly out rated the Broncos. If both teams play at their best this round, there is a very big rating lead to the Dragons. This is a defining game in the Big Red V's season and they will rise to the occasion, the Dragons more than match up all over the ground and if the Broncos forwards lay down in any way this score could be anything. Bet up with confidence on the Dragons at the Gong. FAREWELL AUNTY HenJAK, we will rip your bloody arms off!

Ratings.....Dragons by 17. For the margins, Dragons 13+.

TIGERS v. EELS. Daniel 'Hans Christian' Anderson, the story teller, has the Eels believing everything he is telling them at the moment and should be a shoe in if the Eels make the eight for coach of the year. Sorry to say but this is where the Fairy Tale finishes. Even with a Joey Johns type rating for Mr. Haynes there is enough stats to suggest that the Tigers will get home at the SFS. The Eels faithful are punting up on the Eels winning the comp when in reality they are out of the eight. The Eels were long odds on to beat the Tigers at Parra Park earlier this season and after Tryless Cayless dropped the ball over the line early the Eels were never in the hunt. A very important game for both lightweight packs and whoever stands up to be counted will win the game. I favour the Tigers narrowly.

Ratings.....Tigers by 1. For the margins, Tigers 1-12.

KNIGHTS v. COWBOYS. The Knights were back in the winners circle last Monday Night but still wanted to knock off early. The Cowboys had every opportunity to get home against the Dogs in Townsville but were not up to the challenge. The Cowboys have brought a solid pack to Newcastle but they move slower than the Christmas Holiday traffic over the Hexham Bridge. The Knights will consolidate their place in the eight with a clear victory over the over rated Cowboys. How did the Cowboys coach let Farrar go to Manly and accept Bani in return? The Knights realise there is Life after Brian and it is pretty bright.

Ratings.....Knights by 8. For the margins, Knights 1-12.

PANTHERS v. RABBITS. The Rabbits will think that they have been in a plane crash, no Wing and no Props! The Panthers had their Big Black Cat hides kicked last weekend but will be strongly favoured to get the points against an undermanned Rabbits outfit. The Rabbits had every chance against the Titans at ANZ last weekend but came up short on the back of a few dud refs calls and some self destructing in attack. This weekend they have no props and no Wing or Crocker. The answer is, the Penny Panthers to get the cash at home.

Ratings.....Panthers by 8.5. For the margins, Panthers 1-12.

WARRIORS v. RAIDERS. The Warriors have Price right, they are at home across the ditch, they play a Green Machine that cannot win away from home and have a great record against Canberra at Mt. Smart Stadium and guess what? They cannot win, they are terrible and an embarrassment to the NRL. The hard running Canberra forwards will punch holes in the Warriors defensive line and Jones will wish he retired before he came back! The Warriors Coach, Ican C. Cleary now the season has gone, made a real dud decision in letting Fien go, especially when he had just played a Test for his adopted New Zealand, what was he thinking. Anyway the Bookies in their wisdom are giving the Raiders the start in the betting, Load Up.

Ratings.....Canberra by 1.5. For the margins, Raiders 1-12.

TITANS v, SHARKS. Maybe if the Sharks were to sign Zillman they could get their bite back? If I was playing footy and my Captain was the slowest winger in captivity, I think that I would get on the drink and get thrown out of the club, thats right that is what half the Sharkies have done. What a terrible decision to make Covell Captain of the Gummy pack, the side is down on confidence and you look to a bloke who has not scored a running try in three years to lift you, go figure. Anyway the Titans will win this game clearly and wrap up a top four spot in their third season, a big effort. I really do not think that the Titans have a great roster but they perform close to their ability every week. This may sound rhetorical but Cartwright coaches the Titans and they are in the top four. Cartwright used to be the assistant at the Roosters and they made a few Grand Finals, when Cartwright left the Roosters they fell over, maybe they should have put the Carty right before the Horse?

Ratings.....Titans by 19. For the margins, Titans 13+.

STORM v. SEA EAGLES. Another game where the home side are false favourites. There is not much in this one but the Manly team should be favourites courtesy of their overall ratings, backs , forwards and off the bench. The Storms busted backline, with Slater as the only potent weapon, will struggle to register points against the solid Manly defence. The Storm pack have failed to get any go forward with Manu out injured and this will be a great opportunity for Manly to wrap up a top eight position from which they can launch a defence of their 2008 title. Whatever the Storm are paying Flinch for next season, he is dear at half the price!A slight leaning to the Manly side with the home ground advantage the only thing keeping the Storm in the picture.

Ratings.....Manly by 5.5. For the margins, Manly 1-12.

BULLDOGS v. ROOSTERS. If the Doggies are fair dinkum chances of winning this seasons rings, they will beat the Roosters by plenty. The Roosters did not have a go against Manly last weekend, after a few ordinary refs calls and if the Doggies get out of the boxes quickly on Monday Night under lights, the Roosters may be suspended as non chasers and have to perform before the stewards, before they are allowed to go around again next year. I believe they are already looking for a new trainer for next seasons racing. Willie or Wont He Mason was an embarrassment against Manly last Saturday Night and how must Fitzy feel when he is giving twice the effort for half the pay and getting sent to the provincials of Pommy land for next season? At least they could have sent him to stud! The Dogs by plenty!

Ratings.....Bulldogs by 20. For the margins 13+.
