Thursday Wrap!

Paul Zines wraps up the Dally M Awards and gives an update on Willie Mason as well some rumours and player movements.

See you Slater! Full-back Billy Slater paid the price for his brain snap against the Dragons earlier in the year. He decided to run and start throwing punches at Jason Nightingale. He was suspended for a week and lost three points from his Dally M voting. Also, he could not receive any points from that match or the week after as he was sitting in the sideline. It cost him a Dally M and I hope it makes him realize that he cannot take things into his own hands. Well done to Matt Orford for taking out the best player of the year award!

Too easy Campese?...Maybe Not! When five-eighth of the year was about to be announced Terry Campese would have been doing his leg stretches for the walk to the stage. He had the award in the bag and how Greg Inglis won it I will never know. Campese finished on 21 points and Inglis 14 points.
