Tickle signs for two years

Wigan Second Row Forward Danny Tickle has today put pen to paper on a new two year contract which will keep him at the JJB until the end of 2006.

Wigan Chairman Maurice Lindsay said,

"We are delighted that Danny has signed a new deal with us. Danny is another quality young player within our ranks who is progressing well and has a very bright future within the game. By signing Danny we have added yet another young player to our growing array of home grown talent."

Coach Denis Betts said,

"Danny has become a major influence within our squad . He is a powerful Second Row Forward with the bonus of his wonderful goal kicking ability. He possesses all the ingredients to be both successful at club level and step up on the International stage."

Danny Tickle added,

"I am pleased my immediate future is now sorted.As a local boy I always wanted to play for Wigan and have enjoyed my time at the club. The club are very ambitious and I am looking forward to the next two seasons."
