Tigers face fine

Wests Tigers have been hit with a breach notice by the NRL for using an unofficial kicking tee in their 34-22 weekend loss to Melbourne following a complaint by the Storm.

The Tigers have five working days to respond to the notice before the NRL decides whether to fine the club. The tee - a sawn-off witch's hat disguised in black tape ? was confiscated by the NRL ground manager during last Saturday night's game at Olympic Park.

Wests Tigers chief executive Steve Noyce says the club's main priority is preparing for their final regular season clash against Penrith which they need to win to secure a top four finish and home final.
