Titans help coach stars of tomorrow

The table-topping Jetstar Gold Coast Titans today ran their eye over some potential stars of the future at an Australian Rugby League Development Kids 2 Kangaroos coaching clinic at Boyd Street Oval, Tugun.

The coaching clinic, which attracted almost 150 kids aged between 5 and 12, coincided with an open training session and autograph signing session by the entire Titans NRL squad.

After Titans players were taken through their paces by coach John Cartwright earlier in the morning, members of the first grade squad then passed on some tips of their own down to the youngsters at the coaching clinic.

The day provided a great chance for the budding young stars to interact first hand with their heroes.

Among the youngsters who participated in the coaching clinic was Jayden Campbell, the son of Titans favourite Preston Campbell.

Campbell Senior, who helped out at the coaching clinic, said it was great to see Jayden and other young kids having fun learning about rugby league.
