Titans Out And About For Gcdjrl Sign-on Day

Jetstar Gold Coast Titans centre Steve Michaels will return to the spot where his rugby league dreams began as part of the club's involvement in the Gold Coast District Junior Rugby League sign-on day tomorrow.

Michaels will return to his former Mudgeeraba Redbacks Junior Rugby League club to encourage youngsters to have fun by signing up to play rugby league - a choice he made at the age of six with the Redbacks before going on to realise his dreams as an NRL player, firstly with the Brisbane Broncos and now the Jetstar Titans.

Michaels will be joined at the Redbacks' sign-on day tomorrow by fellow Jetstar Titans Anthony Laffranchi (Murwillumbah) and Shannon Walker (Kyogle), who both hail from the club's catchment area.

The entire Jetstar Titans NRL squad will attend tomorrow's sign-on days at all 13 GCDJRL clubs across the Gold Coast, spreading the
