Titans re-sign young gun Srama
The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans have secured another emerging youngster by today re-signing National Youth Competition (NYC) hooker Matt Srama to a new three-year contract.
Srama, the club's Toyota Cup Player of the Year last season and existing NYC hooker, has today signed a new three-year deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2014 season.
He joins the likes of fellow rising stars Jamal Idris (aged 20), Ryan James (19), Kevin Gordon (21), Ben Ridge (21), David Mead (22) and Bodene Thompson (22) at the club over the next few years.
The talented 20-year-old has come through the Jetstar Titans Junior Pathways Program having graduated from the club's Under-18s and Under-20s sides to currently be on the verge of NRL selection.
Jetstar Titans Coach John Cartwright said Srama's re-signing was an important one for the future of the club and compared his style of play to that of departing hooker Nathan Friend.
