Tongue and Dugan return for Raiders

Canberra Raiders stars Alan Tongue and Josh Dugan are set to make their returns from injury this week, when the Raiders take on the Penrith Panthers in Monday night football at Canberra Stadium.

For Tongue it's been a long lay off with injury as he hasn't played since round seven against the Rabbitohs due to a groin injury, while Dugan returns to the team after missing the one week with a shoulder injury.

Tongue will also resume his mantle as team Captain for the match, despite being named on the interchange bench.

The Raiders have named an extended bench for the match with Shaun Fensom, Danny Galea and Glen Buttriss named in a 20 man squad.

Raiders Coach David Furner said the addition of Tongue gives the side the extra utility factor, as well as the boost of having their leader back on deck.
