THE Wests Tigers have comeback from a half time deficit to defeat the Sydney Roosters 19-12 in front of a 10,178 crowd at Leichhardt.

The Tigers were over again five minutes later courtesy of some soft Roosters' defense and a clever pass from halfback Robert Lui which put Blake Ayshford over. Marshall missed the conversion on this occasion to keep the lead to six.

Brian Smith's side were given several opportunities to hit back in the final half hour of the match but struggled to complete their sets.

The scoreboard attendant was finally put to work again in the 75th minute but it was the Tigers extending their lead after Marshall kicked a field goal for the home side.

The Roosters continued to bomb their chances in the dying minutes of the match and the Tigers were able to get away with an unconvincing win.
