Tuesday's Expert Wrap - NRL Round 14

The Origin period continues to affect results and clubs' fortunes through the shortened rounds with a couple of surprise results. The Friday night fixture saw the Rabbitohs breeze past a timid and Farah/Woods-less Tigers side. Saturday's double-header had competition leaders Penrith struggling to put away the Dragons before winning by just four points, while the second game saw the Roosters execute a perfect second half to consign the Newcastle Knights to outright last place at Allianz Stadium. A depleted Bulldogs fell well short against the Eels at ANZ on Sunday before a weakened Storm defeated an equally struggling Titans on Monday night in front of a poor Monday night crowd at Robina.
