Two Broncos in trouble; Judiciary & Hannay

Brisbane Broncos player Brett Seymour is alleged to have head-butted a woman while trying to kiss her on a Brisbane hotel dance floor in the early hours of Monday morning.

And a second "high profile" Broncos player is reportedly being investigated by police for allegedly assaulting a woman at a taxi rank outside a Brisbane nightclub last Friday night.

Seymour has been interviewed by Queensland Police after two women filed complaints regarding the alleged incident at the Regatta Hotel at Toowong in Brisbane's inner-west. And ABC TV last night said another woman has contacted Brisbane detectives today to make an official complaint about an alleged taxi rank assault on Friday night.

A police spokesman says detectives have conducted an investigation regarding a taxi rank incident on Friday night but can't confirm who'd been involved.

Meanwhile, Sydney Roosters winger Amos Roberts will front the NRL Judiciary tonight to fight a grade one dangerous throw charge. Roberts pleaded not guilty yesterday, forfeiting the chance at a one match suspension and will instead be banned for two games if the judiciary finds him guilty tonight.

Parramatta prop Fuifui Moimoi accepted a seven-match ban for a reckless high tackle yesterday, while New Zealand Warriors prop Ruben Wiki took a one game ban for his careless high tackle.

Elsewhere, North Queensland centre Josh Hannay may have played his last game for the club after being dropped from first grade ahead of this weekend's clash against the Bulldogs.

Hannay's demotion has allowed Graham Murray to shift Paul Bowman from lock to centre with rookie Mark Henry retaining his position in the Cowboys' backline. The Queensland centre has signed a two-year deal with the Sharks for next season.
