Summary: Eighth-placed Balmain took care of fifth-placed Windsor last weekend with a convincing 32-6 win while the Magpies fell just four points short of knocking off the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Belmore.

The Magpies looked like world beaters for periods but they fell asleep in the latter stages of the second half and at the 48th minute mark, the Bulldogs lead 34-12. The Magpies will have to watch Blamain playmaker Masada Iosefa closely as he has the ability, at this level, to completely put a game out of the opposition
