Villasanti neck scans return
negative damage

Warriors prop forward Richard Villasanti is expected to be fit for the NRL club's round 1 premiership opener against Manly after initial scans cleared him of a neck injury.

Villasanti injured his neck in a head clash with Monty Betham during his side's win over an invitational President's Selection at North Harbour Stadium on Sunday.

The former test forward was taken to hospital where scans cleared him of any injury.

Villasanti will undergo further tests but is expected to be fit for the Warriors' round one game against the Sea Eagles at Ericsson Stadium.
