Wales waiting on Morgan

Welsh Dragons coach, Neil Kelly, has delayed his sections for the match against England A this weekend at Headingley Leeds whilst he waits to find out on the fitness of Justin Morgan. The match is of a very high significance, with the winner going into the final which will be played a Wilderspool in Warrington against either Scotland or France.

Justin Morgan missed last Sunday's Think! Road Safety Tour game against Australia at Bridgend after suffering a broken nose Welsh European Nations Cup win over Russia at Aberavon the previous weekend.

Morgan, who plays for French club Toulouse Spacers, flew back to Wales last week in a desperate bid to be fit in time for the game against Australia but was ruled out on the advice of a specialist.

Kelly said: "Justin is flying back from France again for the match against England 'A' and this time I think he has a good chance of being declared fit.

"Justin has put in some miles to make himself available to play for Wales and that just demonstrates the great attitude that has been generated in the Welsh squad for both the European Nations and tour game".

Both Allan Bateman (shoulder) and Damien Hudd (cracked sternum) have no chance of playing for the Welsh this week.

Added Kelly: "Once I've had time to assess all our injury situations I expect to be in a position to name my team on Friday".

Supporters are reminded that they can pay on the day at Headingley (Kick off 3.00pm) and tickets cost ?10 (with ?5 concessions) in the main stand and ?8 with ?4 concessions on the terracing.
