Warriors name 18 man squad for
Leeds game

Wigan acting Coach Denis Betts has named an 18 man squad for Saturday's Tetley's Super League game against the Leeds Rhinos at the JJB Stadium, 6pm kick off.

The Warriors select the same seventeen that were on duty last Sunday in the 40-18 win over Huddersfield Giants with the addition of Martin Aspinwall who was rested for the game.

The Squad is -

Kris Radlinski David Hodgson Martin Aspinwall Stephen Wild Gary Connolly Brett Dallas Danny Orr Adrian Lam Terry O Connor Terry Newton Craig Smith Danny Tickle Andrew Farrell Sean O Loughlin Mick Cassidy Gareth Hock Danny Sculthorpe Mark Smith.

Looking ahead to the game against the league leaders, Denis Betts said,

"Every Wigan Leeds game is a test, their form is fantastic, they have some great players and it will be a challenge for us. We will need to be strong mentally, but these type of games are very easy to get up for. We have prepared well and I feel we are getting better week in week out and we are looking to take another step in the right direction on Saturday.""

Gary Connolly is also set to play against his former side and admits he is looking forward to the game,

"I am looking forward to it, but I don't have anything to prove, I had a fantastic time at Leeds and I don't have a bad word to say about the club. The game is not about me, it's about Wigan beating Leeds. I enjoyed my time there immensely, it was unfortunate I could not see my contract out at Leeds but I would not have joined any other club other than Wigan."
