Warriors named to face Melbourne
Storm

The Vodafone Warriors have been boosted by the return of three players from injury for this weekend?s round 16 match against the Melbourne Storm at Olympic Park.

Back-rower Awen Guttenbeil is back in the side after missing last week?s golden point loss to the Cowboys through injury. Guttenbeil was given until the last minute to prove his fitness against North Queensland, however medical staff advised him to miss the game so that he would be 100 per cent for this week?s match against Melbourne.

Tony Martin is back on the wing having suffered a frustrating, ongoing absence with a knee strain. Although named for the round 13 match against the Raiders, Martin has not actually played since the team?s victory over the Rabbitohs two weeks earlier. He too will return to the field 100 per cent for the clash against his former team.

Utility back Jerome Ropati makes his long awaited come back from injury on the interchange bench. He has been out of the side with a fractured jaw since the round 4 clash against Manly. In other news on the injury front, pending confirmation from a specialist today, Wairangi Koopu will miss this weekend?s game having suffered a jaw injury from the Cowboy?s match. At this stage it is expected that he will miss only game.
