Webcke is "superman" ? Langer

Brisbane rugby league legend Allan Langer has hailed Shane Webcke as a superman after the ex-Test prop completed another miracle recovery to play in the Broncos' crucial NRL clash at Parramatta tonight.

The ironman prop and halfback Brett Seymour have given the injury-ravaged Broncos a major boost for the sell-out clash that may decide the minor premiership. Webcke tore medial ligaments in his left knee against Penrith a fortnight ago and wasn't expected to play for at least another two or three weeks.

Seymour has overcome a hamstring injury but skipper Darren Lockyer has opted not to return early from a hamstring complaint. Berrick Barnes, who has recovered from a corked knee, will now shift from half to five-eighth, Shaun Berrigan returns to the centre with Brent Tate while Scott Minto, originally named in the centres, takes over from Tame Tupou on the wing.
