Wigan extend Mossop contract to 2014

Wigan Warriors are delighted to confirm that 21 year old Second Row Forward, Lee Mossop, has signed a new 5-Year Contract with the Club including a revision of his current Contract which will keep him as a Warriors player until November 2014.

Lee's current deal was due to expire at the end of next Season and his new Contract includes an option in Wigan's favour for the final year.

Lee joined Wigan as a 15 year old from Hensingham ARLFC in Cumbriaand has come through the Club's Youth Development Programme. He was a member of the Wigan Accelerate Squad in 2009. He made a try-scoring debut in 2008 for the First-Team against SM Pia XIII in the Challenge Cup and, in 2009, made 10 appearances for the Warriors off the bench after impressing on loan at Barrow Raiders and Huddersfield Giants. Lee has also represented Englandat Academy level.

The 21 year old has made 7 appearances out of 8 off-the-bench this Season in an exhilarating start by Wiganand has been one of the Club's stand- out players.
