The much anticipated NRL return of Bulldogs superstar Sonny Bill Williams is likely to be delayed another week, with coach Steve Folkes unwilling to take any risks with the injury-prone Kiwi international.
Williams worked out on his own at Bulldogs training today, and showed little sign of discomfort as he continued his recovery from stress fractures to both feet. Folkes says Williams will continue to be monitored through the week, but was unlikely to make the trip to Canberra to take on the Raiders on Sunday.
Williams has not played since suffering a knee injury in a round 13 match against South Sydney at the Sydney Showground last year.
