Woolford hopes
to play Warriors

Fone Zone Canberra Raiders captain Simon Woolford will undergo precautionary scans tomorrow after injuring his shoulder in the first half of the Raiders round 19 loss to Penrith.

The extent of the injury, believed to be muscular, is still unknown, but Woolford is hopeful of getting back on the park for the Raiders home clash against the Warriors this Sunday.

Brad Drew is available for selection this week after recovering from a calf injury and could be called into the side if Woolford is declared unfit to play.

Michael Hodgson is also expected to return this weekend, after suffering a setback with his existing rib injury last week.

Comeback hero Ken Nagas will undergo an arthroscope on his injured knee this week and is hopeful of a return to the playing field in less than a month's time.
