6th Place - Canberra Raiders

Reasons:

Terry Campese: This brilliant five-eighth has had to endure the pressure of a famous last name, a club of nobodies and playing with a different halfback each week due to injuries and off-field dramas. He has since earned a call up to the Australian World Cup squad. Very unlucky not to win the Dally M five-eighth of the year, Campese will look to defy the critics again by leading the Raiders into another final series. It should be mentioned that many (like myself) thought that the Todd Carney incident would have had a huge effect on the club. Instead, we saw Campese become a revelation and a born leader for the Green Machine. Neil Henry: With a host of players leaving the club, will it be in fact their coach that will be their biggest loss? The way that he was able to push his side into the top 8 after a horrific run of injuries I will never know. He is cool and calm under pressure and understands what it takes to win matches. I
