THE last two spots in the draw for this weekend's rugby league World Sevens go on the line when the qualifying tournament gets underway this afternoon at St Mary's.
LONDON Broncos recently launched a major recruitment drive to select the new squad of "Cowgirls" set to wow crowds at Griffin Park in the new Tetley's Super League season.
More than 150 girls enrolled for the initial auditions held at Cannons Health Club in Twickenham and 30 high kickers were recalled for a second audition.
The final squad of 15 Cowgirls have now been selected and they are straight into rehearsals for the new routines for 2004.
The Cowgirls will sport a hot new outfit which is to be unveiled at the Broncos official launch party on Monday the 9th February...Ouch!

THE Men of League players and Cougar World Sevens international sides including Russia, France, Tonga and Samoa will be at Aussie Stadium at 11:00am today, Friday 23 January, in final preparation for this weekend's tournament.
RUSSIA have brought across 13 players for this years Cougar Rugby League World Sevens, naming a strong squad which will have a serious chance of winning the International Trophy up for grabs in the tournament.
EXTREME heat, followed by an electrical storm may of kept some of the crowd away from today?s World Sevens Qualifiers, but it certainly didn?t effect the high standard of play, as 12 teams tested out the new rules which will take effect in the main tournament this weekend, whilst also trying to guarantee their own position in the season kick off.
Featherstone Rovers RLFC have today announced a reorganisation of their management structure that will see director Chris Beaumont taking on the role of Chief Executive at the club. Chris has been a board member for seven years and will take up his new role with immediate effect. "This is a great opportunity for me to increase my day to day involvement at the club and have a direct role in what promises to be a very exciting season for Featherstone Rovers." said Chris. "I first came here as a result of my work with Silk Cut, the sponsors of the Challenge Cup, back in 1985. My involvement and links with the club grew and grew and I am proud to be at the helm at a crucial time in our history."
One of Chris's first duties will be to oversee the club coming out of the CVA it has been in since last year. "The news on this is extremely positive" said Chris. "There has been a lot of work going on to pull us through this period and, whilst there have been some false dawns, we are confident that we will be able to annouce us leaving administration in the very near future."
The club is also looking to boost their playing register with the addition of an Australian forward. Chris commented, "He is primarily a back rower who can also operate quite comfortably in the standoff position. Negotiations are at an advanced stage and we hope that we will have him on board soon. "
Not such good news surrounds club skipper Ian Tonks who suffered rib cartiledge damage in the recent friendly against Hull FC. Ian is expected to be sidelined for a month that will see him miss the start of the Challenge Cup and Arriva Cup ties against Dewsbury and Hull KR.
