A gutsy first half effort by Wests wasn't enough to prevent the Jets taking off and continuing their outstanding season. A four try to nil second half performance from the Bluebags overturned a half time deficit and leaves the Magpies stuck at the foot of the Premier League ladder.

AFTER the roller coaster ride that was Game One of this years Origin series, if anyone had looked into their crystal ball and told us that Joey Johns was to lead us to victory with a supreme performance in Game Two to set up a decider, I would have told them to get some Big Kev and give that crystal ball a decent polish! However the hype and brilliance of State of Origin once again delivered, and we now see the Blues travel back into Maroon territory to try and wrap up the series after losing the first game, a feat few teams have been able to accomplish.
WITH the rep season now behind us, the Rugby League community adjust their lens to focus on the almighty domestic competition laid out intriguingly before us. There are no less than eleven teams still in the hunt for the top 8, and whilst the Warriors might be a long shot, it aint over till the fat lady sings.
