THE NSW Aust Uni Sport East Rugby League Rep team is still looking for two COLTS players, preferably forwards (one min forward), to go on the representative trip to cofs and Brisbane leaving next Wednesday(21st) and coming back next Sunday(25th), 4 day trip. Total cost $550. Includes shorts, socks, jersey, tracksuit, polo shirt, accom, transport and some meals. The team will play Queensland COLTS next Saturday night in Brisbane.

Queensland Cup - Round 8 - Review

TOOWOOMBA proved too good for Wynnum Seagulls running away in the second half to win 48-14 in the ABC Television match at Kougari Oval. Wynnum started strongly scoring two good tries through halfback Denny Lambert and fullback David Seage to lead 8-0. The Clydesdales hit back to trail 8-6 when big South African prop Scott Gray crashed over for a try, but Seagulls centre Jimmy Ahmat extended this margin to 14-6 five minutes before half-time. Setting the trend for the second term Wynnum mistakes allowed Toowoomba to score two late tries and lead 16-14 at the break.

LONDON Broncos have taken prop Tommy Gallagher on one month's loan from Leeds, and Austin Buchanan has returned to the Rhinos following his spell in the capital.
