Rabbitohs: Despite being the beneficiary of a controversial verdict at the judiciary on Tuesday evening Sam Burgess has been ruled out with a quad injury, while impressive youngster Braidon Burns will miss the match through a hamstring strain. As a result Kyle Turner, Liam Knight, Dean Britt and Ethan Lowe all start, with Tom Burgess and John Sutton dropping back to the bench alongside Corey Allan.

Storm: Plenty of changes for the competition leaders with Jahrome Hughes (back spasms), Brandon Smith (ankle sprain) and Ryan Papenhuyzen (mid-foot sprain) all out. Nico Hynes will make his NRL debut at fullback with Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Billy Walters filling the vacant bench spots.
